One or more Peak Surcharge will apply to any shipment or piece travelling through Purolator’s network during the specified peak period in accordance with the details and tables below. The appliable Peak Surcharge will apply to shipments or pieces requiring Special Handling services. Peak Surcharges apply in addition to all other rates and charges applicable to a shipment or piece. Peak Surcharges and Periods, are subject to modification, including extension, by Purolator at its discretion.
Peak Surcharge – Special Handling Service
Any piece determined by Purolator to require special handling service will be subject to a special handling surcharge, as outlined in the table below.

* The particular Peak special handling surcharge applicable to a piece is determined by the type of special handling service to be provided to that piece The type of special handling service to be provided is determined in accordance with the Purolator Terms and Conditions of Service, available at purolator.com.
** Any Special Handling Peak Surcharge applies in addition to all other Service Rate, Additional Charges or other charges applicable to the piece (including, without limitation, other Peak Surcharges, regular special handling charges and/or Taxes) and other charges applicable to the piece. Contracted discounts for regular special handling services do not apply to the corresponding Special Handing Peak Surcharge.
