Purolator is committed to protecting our customers’ data by ensuring that we apply industry regulated security protocols to all of our systems.

Effective September 6, 2019, Purolator will accept only TLS 1.2 security protocols. After this date, any communication requests submitted to Purolator using older protocols (TLS 1.1 or earlier) will fail. To ensure your shipping data remains encrypted, we highly recommend upgrading to the most current version, TLS 1.2.

To continue using our shipping systems and to access our online tools after October 4, 2019, ensure the following:

TLS 1.2 is supported and enabled by default for these operating systems::

Windows Server 2019
Windows Server 2016
Windows Server 2012 R2
Windows Server 2012
Windows 10

TLS 1.2 is supported, but not enabled by default (link to Microsoft to enable 1.2: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/security/tls/tls-registry-settings#tls-12)

Windows 7 SP1

TLS 1.2 is not supported for versions of Windows earlier than Windows Server 2008, such as:

Windows Server 2003

Install a .NET Framework version that supports TLS 1.2.

TLS 1.2 is supported by .NET Framework version 4.5 and later. The TLS 1.2 capable versions of the .NET Framework currently supported by Microsoft are 4.5.2, 4.6 and 4.6.1 .NET 4.5.2 is available as a recommended update via Windows update and should already be installed if the system has been maintained with current updates. Although .NET 3.5 SP1 is still supported, it cannot use TLS 1.2.
