Customer alert: Fraudulent Purolator emails It has come to Purolator’s attention that some customers have received an email that appears to be from a Purolator account. At least one fraudulent email has been received by customers (see example below) and indicates that Purolator has a shipment that was left at our office and that they must confirm their address by downloading the receipt of the parcel: Customer alert: Fraudulent Purolator emails It has come to Purolator’s attention that some customers have received fraudulent emails that appear to be from Purolator accounts. These emails have come from the following email accounts: Post tracking Purolator and Post member. One indicates that the customer has a packet waiting for them at one of our offices. It directs the customer to print an attached document and bring it to a post office near them or their parcel will be returned. The other email indicates that there is a package waiting for them and asks the receiver to download and print the enclosed label to ensure the address is correct for a successful delivery, warning that a daily cost will incur for packages stored at our warehouse. Upgrading our infrastructure to serve you better Purolator is committed to continually improving our infrastructure to better serve our customers. We will soon be upgrading our IT infrastructure to build stronger, more integrated online shipping systems. Service delays due to weather Heavy flooding in Gatineau, Que. has continued to result in road closures and other safety risks. As such, there may be delivery delays today in the following areas Service delays due to inclement weather Road closures and flooding in parts of New Brunswick will cause delivery delays in the Grand Falls and Federation areas. As such, there may be delivery delays in the affected areas into next week. Purolator values the safety of our employees. As such, we may be adjusting routes and service levels to account for adverse weather and unsafe road conditions.
